My favourite wedding photographs & why…?

I spend quite a lot of my time on a wedding day ‘people watching’ – after all, to me that is what Wedding Photography is all about, isn’t it? I love to see family and friends (some who haven’t seen each other for years) interacting with each other with hugs, kisses and laughter. However, this particular lady seemed to be doing exactly the same as me, watching people arrive in the church.

I watched her for a minute until she saw someone she knew and lifted the camera up to take a snap, using the all new too familiar ‘camera pose’ – I took advantage, got my shot and moved on the capture for the brides arrival. I love the the hat, the coat (it was cold), the flowers and even the confetti on the pew to the left… it all says ‘wedding’ to me… I hope you like it too.
